Beginning Monday, March 23, Sterling Health Care will begin treating sick and well patients at separate locations in Montgomery County in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19. Additionally, we will continue screening each patient for fever and flu-like symptoms prior to entering all clinics until further notice. These changes ensure patients get the care they need safely.
SHC – Main will see patients with no signs of flu-like illness, while SHC – Indian Mound will only treat those experiencing fever or flu-like symptoms.
Patients experiencing fever, coughing, shortness of breath or other signs of flu-like illness should call SHC – Indian Mound for appointment information at (859) 498-7716. Patients with other ailments, such as headaches and sore throats, stomach pain, nausea, minor physical injuries or bacterial infections (UTIs, food poisoning, skin infections, etc.) should call SHC – Main for appointment information at (859) 404-7686.
SHC – Carlisle and SHC – Owingsville will continue to see all patients. There will be separate care teams for sick patients and well patients at these locations. Sick patients will be directed to designated exam rooms upon arrival.
OnDemand services are available to all current patients who prefer a video-call appointment. Sterling Health Care OnDemand uses HIPAA approved video technology that allows patients to meet with a health care professional without leaving the comfort of their homes.
Our top priority is protecting our well and vulnerable patients while assessing and treating our sick patients as quickly as possible. If you have questions about scheduling an appointment, please call your regular clinic location or (859) 404-7686.
