April 9, 2026 - Patients and visitors of Sterling Health Care's Stanton clinic will recognize some drastic changes to the front of the facility, with more changes coming in the near future.
After weeks of planning and working through several unforeseen delays, installation of new lettering and a large, eight (8) foot circular sign finally took place on Thursday, April 9th. The process included preparing the wall for installment of new lettering, taking down the old signage that was in place, and running electrical wiring to eventually enable the circular sign to light up in the evenings. A necessary trip to the local hardware store lengthened the day a little more for the team from Gateway Printing and Signs, finally ending nine hours after it started that morning.
"It took a little longer than expected but the signage turned out great and we're glad to be moving on to phase two," said Jeff Pinkerton, SHC Marketing and Communications Director. "We have two more exterior signage installations to tackle and then we'll be finished. The monument-style sign at the driveway entrance is scheduled to be changed out later this week, while the back of the building will serve as a billboard to display SHC's name to traffic on the interstate in a couple of weeks. The goal was to have all of it done before Stanton's Bigfoot Festival so, as of now, we're on schedule to do so.
"This signage is more than just cosmetic," he added. "As many know, there have been changes since November 2025. Originally, we shared the building with a sub-lease in place but now we are directly leasing from the Greater Clark Foundation as the sole occupant. These changes signal we're embracing that new era and we are ready to continue being heavily involved in the Stanton community."
