AUGUST 4, 2023 - WINCHESTER, KY - Patients of Sterling Health Care’s (SHC) Winchester Women’s Care clinic now have access to more medical services and increased office space following relocation efforts completed between July 27th and 29th. Providers for the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) began seeing patients in its new facility at 455 Bullion Boulevard on Monday, July 31.
The move was made possible through a mutual agreement with the facility’s previous occupants (Clark Regional Medical Center), which wanted to bring its staff and clinicians into its hospital’s medical office building attached to the hospital. A coordinated effort between both organizations was arranged, allowing the move to happen with minimal impact to patients.
“We are always happy to have opportunities for expansion of services,” said MinDee Hudson, SHC Chief Operations Officer. “As we continue to experience numerical growth, it is essential we maintain an operational pace giving us the necessary equipment, facilities and resources to continue providing exceptional care at affordable costs for every patient. Our mission is too great to not succeed, so opportunities like this are significant milestones for our organization.
“We are appreciative of Clark Regional’s role in working together with us for a mutually beneficial solution from a business perspective,” Hudson added. “It’s the benefits to the patient that are most important however, and this move certainly achieves that for families and individuals utilizing SHC.”
