SEPTEMBER 19, 2023 - MT. STERLING, KY - Almost two years to the day after ceremoniously breaking ground, Sterling Health Care (SHC) hosted another ceremony on Thursday, Sept. 14th, to officially open the doors of its newest and largest clinic. Local and state officials joined SHC board members, management and staff at 633 Maysville Road to unveil the new two‐story, 20,000‐square‐foot facility that brings all the services and resources of SHC’s previous Mount Sterling clinics under one roof. Patients also will have the ability to access SHC dental and women’s care within short walking distance of the new facility, which is located behind Montgomery Dental Center and SHC Women’s Care.
SHC Chief Executive Officer Tina Bryant welcomed the crowd of approximately 75 guests during the brief ceremony, which also included remarks from Kentucky Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman, Kentucky Senator Greg Elkins, State Representative David Hale, and Mount Sterling Mayor Al Botts. At the conclusion of the remarks, a ceremonial cuttng of the ribbon was held outside the facility before many took the opportunity to tour the new facility.
An open house concluded the historic day later that evening, with numerous members of the general public stopping in before the facility’s scheduled opening on Monday, Sept. 18th.
