Sterling Health Care Welcomes Several New Providers

December 3, 2021 - MT. STERLING, KY - Sterling Health Care (SHC) is pleased to announce the addition of nine (9) new providers to its team of medical professionals serving the Gateway region of Kentucky. Together, these providers will bolster the mission of SHC to improve the lives of the people in the communities it serves, regardless of their ability to pay.

“We are very excited to add the skills and talents of these professionals to our family here at Sterling Health Care,” said Tina Bryant, SHC Chief Executive Officer. “They will be a tremendous asset to our organization and, most importantly, will strengthen our level of commitment to providing exceptional care for our patients in the areas of primary care, pediatrics, women’s care, dental, behavioral health, substance abuse disorder treatment, school-based health, and pharmacy.”

The new staff members include:

• Dr. Kevin Holbrook, a specialist in Family Medicine working in the Stanton clinic at 68 E. Elkins Street;
• Hannah Patrick, an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APRN) also working with patients at the Stanton office;
• Chris Vickrey, a Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner (PMHNP) at the Stanton location, in addition to working with patients at the Carlisle office at 1355 Concrete Road and at Indian Mound (Fridays only).
• Pediatrician Dr. Barry Williams joins the staff at SHC’s main campus at 209 N. Maysville Street in Mount Sterling;
• Ashley Berry, a physician’s assistant who will work with Dr. Richard Hall at SHC’s main campus;
• Amanda Miller, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who will be involved with the Powell County School-Based Health program;
• Stephanie Goodpaster, a LCSW working with the staff at Carlisle as well as the Nicholas County School-Based Health program;
• Courtney Elam, Psychiatric APRN, who will be at the Owingsville location at 44 Water Street; and
• Michelle Watkins, APRN, who will see patients in Mount Sterling’s Indian Mound location at 103 Commonwealth Drive.
